MEET MATT
Matt Dunlap is running for Maine’s 2nd congressional district because we deserve a representative who will put Mainers above politics – and who won’t cave to Trump.
As State Auditor, Matt works to improve efficiency of state government, eliminate waste, and prevent fraud. Previously, Matt was Maine’s Secretary of State. During Trump’s first term, Matt was appointed to serve on what was supposed to be a bipartisan “election integrity” commission – but when it became clear the panel was just a front for a fraudulent power grab, Matt stood up to Trump, won in court, and forced the panel to be dissolved.
Matt is a founding board member of the Maine Youth Fish and Game Association, the former executive director of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, and assistant to the treasurer of his local Episcopal Church.
Matt and his wife, Michelle Dunphy, live in Old Town with their daughter. He is a proud graduate of the University of Maine.
